Meet the man under the hat
Hello.
I’m Spike.
Comedy magician, family entertainer, circus enthusiast. Usually found with a top hat, a ukulele or something that absolutely refuses to behave.
Making little people laugh.
And big people, too.
I’m based in Huddersfield and perform across West Yorkshire and beyond. Over more than a decade of professional entertaining, I’ve brought magic and comedy to birthdays, schools, family celebrations and live events.
My background includes work in professional circus and teaching performing arts. You’ll spot a little of that variety-show spirit in the juggling, music and wonderfully daft moments.
I’ve been recognised by the Huddersfield Circle of Magicians, including Children’s Entertainer of the Year in 2024 and a joint win in the 2025 close-up competition.
What matters most is the audience in front of me: making the birthday child feel special, getting a whole family laughing, or finding a quieter moment for someone who needs it.

quite remarkable.
A birthday, a school hall or a whole platform of families. Tell me what you’re planning.
